Technical Advisor

Arvind Rao servers as a technical advisor in patent preparation, prosecution and analysis in the field of software in areas including embedded systems, cloud computing, artificial intelligence and machine learning.

Arvind received his Master’s degree in Computer Science at Northern Illinois University in Dekalb, Illinois and Bachelor’s degree at National Institute of Technology in Surat, India. He has also received certifications as AWS Solutions Architect and from University of Washington, Seattle for embedded systems and RTOS programming.

Before joining the firm, Arvind designed and developed software solutions and applications for large and start-up companies in areas related to control systems, embedded systems and cloud computing. In embedded systems, he has worked on areas such as device drivers for various peripherals, bootloaders, networking stacks and bus protocols. In cloud computing, he has designed and developed an end-to-end cloud IoT solution to monitor sensors and drive HVAC applications using various AWS cloud services. He has worked at various companies as a software engineer, technical lead, and as a principal engineer. He was the inventor and co-inventor of several patents in areas relating to cloud computing, control systems, and calibration/testing of sensors.
