Associate Chris Drymalla
Mr. Drymalla received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, magna cum laude, from Texas A&M University in December of 2000. While pursuing his degree, he interned as an engineer with FMC Corporation Subsea Wellhead Equipment Division in Houston, Texas. At FMC he supported the design and testing of deepwater completion systems. During his undergraduate studies, he was selected for membership in Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society, Pi Tau Sigma Mechanical Engineering Honor Society, Golden Key National Honor Society, and Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society.
After receiving his degree in 2000, Mr. Drymalla worked for National Instruments Corporation in Austin, Texas. As a Mechanical Engineer in research and development, his primary focus included thermo-mechanical design of GPIB, Serial, and CAN systems. As an Applications Engineer he provided application specific support for the implementation of hardware and software systems with a primary focus in image acquisition, image processing, motion system integration and RF technologies.
After working at National Instruments, Mr. Drymalla received his Juris Doctorate from Baylor Law School in July of 2006 and passed the July 2006 Texas Bar Exam. Mr. Drymalla is licensed by the State Bar of Texas and is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Prior to joining the firm Mr. Drymalla worked as an attorney with a Houston based IP firm specializing in patent prosecution. While there, he gained experience in various aspects of patent prosecution and litigation support. Mr. Drymalla’s practice focused primarily in the electrical and mechanical arts, including: semiconductor devices; flash memory devices; photoelectric devices; computer hardware and architecture; flat-panel display systems; signal processing; turbo-machinery; oil and gas production systems; power distribution systems; radiopharmaceutical systems; medical devices; and medical imaging.
