Stephen J. Curran specializes in electronic systems and circuits, particularly embedded system test and design for testability. He serves as a Registered Patent Agent.
Mr. Curran received his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin in 1993. He attended the university on a College of Engineering transfer scholarship. Upon graduation, Mr. Curran served as an applications engineer at Crystal Semiconductor, where he developed reference designs and test hardware.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Curran worked as both a design-for-test (DFT) engineer and a product / test engineer at Motorola. He was responsible for incorporating testability features in advanced microcontroller products. Mr. Curran also served twelve years in the United States Air Force as an Avionics Systems Technician; eight of those years were with the Air Force Reserves.
The Texas Board of Professional Engineers licenses Mr. Curran to practice as a Professional Engineer in the State of Texas.
